Fragmento retirado do EP.3, sim a censura é “dogeza.gif”, abaixando e levantando a cabeça incessantemente.
60/100I humbly beg you ma'am, please show me your breastsContinue on AniListAre you tired of reading wall after wall of pretentious text?
Do you just want to know if you should watch the darn show?
Me too.TLDR
Dogeza only asks what we as a society are too afraid to. An unwavering look into the deepest desires of man that unfortunately falls short due to its animation and music. It was mildly fun while it lasted, but very forgettable.
PLOT - Average
First and foremost, find an uncensored version. Watching it censored goes against the whole point of the show unless you’d rather look at stuff like this over seeing the actual anime titty. (spoiler tagged because of ecchi)
Every episode consists of the main character begging a different girl to show him their boobies or underpants, and the girls eventually giving in. The show is from the protagonist’s point of view, which is a pretty clever trick because it means they never have to animate him. For some reason, it’s super rare to get both tits and pantsu at the same time, which should theoretically be possible considering the show is about those two things exclusively.
Episodes are very short at 3:30 long (Anilist says they're 4 minutes, which is wrong). There is a 1 minute long ED and a 10 second long end card at the end, which means that there's actually only 2:20 worth of content per episode.
At the start of each one, they show a card with basic info about the girl. But for some reason, they forgot to include stuff like the 3 sizes (bust, waist, hips) and bra cup size. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to know that the girl from episode 11 is a Scorpio, but I’d rather have other information. This is a super minor thing and didn’t really impact my enjoyment of the show.
The only episode worth mentioning is the last one. Despite the show barely having an actual plot, the finale is very spoilable so I won’t go into any further detail. Legit 10/10 material though. It has an after credits scene that must not be skipped.
ART AND ANIMATION - Average
There is almost no animation and the little that was present wasn't great. There are episodes that are more of a series of stills than an actual anime, and slowly panning over a still image is common. Pretty much the only time animation gets decent is during the titty or underwear reveal, which only lasts for a few seconds. I’m willing to be a little lenient because it's a TV short, but the animation’s pretty bad.
The art is alright. In general, it gets the job done and not much more. Sure, the girls are good looking, but that’s due to their designs and not how well they're drawn (not that their designs are unique or anything).
I really liked the end cards. They’re definitely the prettiest part of the show. Below is a screenshot from episode 1 and its end card for comparison. (spoiler tagged because of ecchi)
# **MUSIC AND SOUND** - Average There is no OP, but the ED is 1 minute long. For a 3.5 minute episode, that means over a quarter of the entire episode is ED. The song is upbeat and catchy, but it being so absurdly long means that there’s less time for actual content. To be clear, the problem with the ED is not its quality, but its length. The soundtrack was generic but fit the mood of the episode. The calm moments had calm music, the loud moments had loud music, etc. I honestly can’t say more than that because I can’t remember anything about it. Super forgettable in general. I have no clue how they got Tomokazu Sugita, voice actor of Joseph Joestar (JoJo’s), Gintoki (Gintama), Kyon (Haruhi Suzumiya), and Rudeus (Mushoku Tensei) to voice the main character. He nails it though. # **CHARACTERS** - Average Every episode is from the narrator’s point of view. We get to hear his thoughts and the things he says to the girls, and I can say without a doubt that this man is pretty horny. His name is technically Suwaru Doge, but to be honest I had no clue he had one until I started writing this review. There’s lots of variety in the girls we meet. Below is an incomplete list of different traits the girls had. Note that all of the them had multiple traits. It's not a spoiler and I’ve only marked it as one because some people may want to go into the experience totally blind. If you're one of them, just know that there is probably something that appeals to you. Unfortunately, they skip out on some pretty popular fetishes. I’m not saying that I personally wanted to see these (okay maybe some of them), just that some very popular ones were not included for whatever reason. Again, this is an incomplete list. There is a lack of: - Anything vaguely BDSM - Bunny costumes - Dominant girls - Everyday clothing - Gyaru - Imoutos - Lolis - Maid uniforms - Nurse uniforms - Oversized hoodies / sweaters - Senpais - Stockings, thigh highs, etc - Swimsuits → only in episode 1 end card - Tan girls - Tomboys - They barely even show any ass I’m not gonna pretend like there’s deep characters or anything. We’re basically looking at cardboard cutouts with the ability to take off their clothes, but there’s only so much you can do with a 3:30 episode (minus a 1 minute ED and a 10 second end card). # **WHO SHOULD WATCH THIS** The overwhelming majority of girls in this show are flustered, embarrassed, and blushing. If you’re really into these three things, this show is for you. Otherwise, I would skip it. I know I said there's something for everyone, but it’s not worth it to watch the whole show for that one tsundere episode or whatever. # **RECOMMENDATIONS** [I Want You to Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear](https://anilist.co/anime/101970/Iya-na-Kao-sare-nagara-Opantsu-Misete-Moraitai/) is pretty similar, but appeals to people with submissive or masochistic leanings. The art and animation are way better than Dogeza's. Another similar show is [Miru Tights](https://anilist.co/anime/106967/Miru-Tights/), although it’s targeted towards people that are into tights, legs, and feet. If that sounds like it’s right up your alley, I can assure you that Miru Tights is a vastly better show than Dogeza is on an art/animation level. # **CONCLUSION** Well, it wasn’t terrible. But it wasn’t great either. Due to its subpar visuals and lack of content, Dogeza was unable to reach the potential I knew it had. This show could and should have been a lot better. I really wanted to love this, but aside from the amazing finale and the fact that I like blushing girls, it was painfully average. ---------------- ##### Visit my profile @groggy1 to give feedback or to see my other work
