DESCRIPTION
When Mafuyu Oribe and her adopted sister Tomo rescue a strange wounded man, they have no idea what they're getting involved with or what the consequences will be. Alexander Nikolaevith Hell is an Iron Qwaser, one of many opposing factions of super-warriors who can each draw upon the power of an element and wield it as an almost unstoppable array of weapons. And unfortunately for Mafuyu, Alexander's faction is there to gather the mystical relics known collectively as the High Circuit, which puts her friends, family and school at ground zero in a battle for the fate of all mankind! But there's an even more disturbing twist, as Qwasers require a special liquid diet to manifest their powers, one provided by the women who serve as a Qwaser's partner. And THAT means that the nursing Mafuyu's already given Alexander isn't the only kind of nursing he needs!

0/100An underrated clusterfuck of absolute insanity (and boobs)Continue on AniListThere's something that's just so hypnotic about this show, whenever I watch it I enter this weird cozy yet hyped mood where I feel like nothing in the world exists other than me and this stupid ass show,.
Maybe it's because of the crazy mix of all these different genres and ideas in it such as action, superpowers, sofcore porn, comedy, romance, religion, high school, adventure, alchemy, magic, boob sucking, gothic loli and gothic loli sucking boobs.
It has all of that and more yet it still says absolutely NOTHING about any of them. Instead they're used to make this show as absolutely batshit insane as possible to the point where there's literally not a single dull moment in the whole show. It's the definition of joy and fun, whether those feelings come from seeing the many hype fight scenes or just a boobs shot.
Not every show should be a deep commentary on our human society or some shit, sometimes you need to just chill the fuck up and enjoy a ride like this, and I'm not saying "turn your brain off to enjoy this" that's just stupid. I'm saying that you should probably see it how the creators intended it to be seen, and a lot of people just don't know what this shit is all about.
It's obviously not meant to be taken seriously, there's little to know exposition, I think some things are just left unexplained because that would take too long and it'll drag down the show's fact pacing that make it so fun to watch, villains are as cheesy and evil (and sometimes hot) as they can be, the fanservice is EVERYWHERE, there's always at least a pair of boobs that's bouncing around on screen for no reason at all sometimes, and they all look damn good, all the fanservice looks good and it's actually legitimately sexy in this show (it's weird how uncommon that is in this medium that's all about fetishes)
As much as as the fanservice is unjustifiable, the show still presents it with ZERO shame and that's just fucking great, it means that the guys who made it know know exactly what this show is and don't try to make it more than that but instead focus on what they should focus on, and they ended up with this awesome self aware fanservice "trash" that is way more fun to watch than probably any other piece of media.
Should be clear by now but in case someone doesn't bother to read all of the shit up there:
If you're easily offended by fanservice or want to get more than just enjoyment out of it then get da frick outta here stupiiiiid, this ain't for u
If you want an extremely fun show that just doesn't give a fuck then go ahead, there's no better choice. I think it's one of the most underappreciated shows ever.
$Don't mind me just typing random shit so I can post this cuz it's gotta be 2100 letters, stupid site$

90/100Among the greatest ecchi of all time, and deeper than people think.Continue on AniListSeikon no Qwaser is one of the most infamous yet misunderstood anime out there. If you're reading this you probably already know this battle anime uses breast milk as a key combat device. As a result, the series attracts a lot of novelty attention from people who otherwise wouldn't ordinarily be into ecchi, but also people who simply see this as epic jackoff material and think nothing more of it. Over the years, this has lead to Qwaser being largely underappreciated as the unique, well-rounded, and innovative anime it is. I'm sure most ecchi/ero aficionados would agree that other borderline H series, such as Masou Gakuen HxH and Redo of Healer, can't hold a candle to this, and in this review I'd like to unpack why I think Qwaser has earned such a memorable spot in history compared to its descendants.
The story revolves around combat among people known as "qwasers". A qwaser is a person with a special affinity for a single element (iron, copper, chlorine, etc) and can manipulate it at will. Qwasers have finite energy with which to manipulate these elements, however, and must recharge by drinking a woman's "soma" (basically the show's technical term for breast milk). This can come from any woman, but the soma is most effective if the woman is close with the qwaser on some physical or emotional level. These are typically women who train and partner with a specific qwaser, known as "marias". There are different underground organizations who essentially employ qwasers and marias as spec-ops military in a hunt for a powerful artifact that can shape or destroy the world.
That's a lot of wow factor, but it isn't the sole reason to why the series is so successful. Much more than that needs to go right for an anime like this to triumph.
This starts with the production, which is of relatively high quality for a 24 episode fringe series. There are more impressively animated series in this genre, like High School DxD, but there are no major missteps here. Of course most of the animation budgeting prioritizes the elaborate ecchi scenes over the more in-between moments, but the generally well choreographed action sequences are not neglected in the slightest either. Beyond that, the artwork is solid and the character designs all stand out from each other in this diverse cast of both females and males. The anime establishes a consistent visual theme, which is a slightly gothic and dark Byzantine look with motifs such as crosses, churches, and dark outfits (if you enjoy Bible Black this should also appeal to you). All in all, there are few moments where this anime won't have you visually engaged.
Qwaser is perhaps a more unique anime than many people think. I'm writing this review roughly 12 years after the anime aired, and I think its individuality is more obvious than ever. This was a time before High School DxD inspired a dozen clones each year, before "battle harem" consistently appeared as a term, and before the genre further homogenized in the isekai realm. There wasn't exactly an established recipe for an anime of this type, and the creators couldn't rely on a dedicated niche to pull the sales the way they'd be able to in a few years. Sure, it was predated by just a few other partner/battle-royal harem anime like Sekirei and Hyakka Ryouran, but Qwaser is still a good bit more unique and unpredictable than both of those titles. This is established up front--with the leads. The two are quickly interlocked in an InuYasha-inspired dynamic, where the viewer might not entirely be sure who the main character actually is. Sasha (the male) is the central character, but the story is told from (female lead) Mafuyu's perspective. Mafuyu is the normal outsider who is unwillingly swept into the chaos of qwaser battles, so she serves as the audience's lens into this crazy world. I can't think of many other ecchi or harem anime that operate with a quasi-female lead like this, and it gives the series and its romance subtle intrigue at its core. The strength of the characters and character relationships doesn't end there either, as there are many other wild, funny, sweet, and disturbing side pairings and additional interactions that further deepen the scope (or at least the entertainment value) of the anime.
The self-aware creators knew this anime is ridiculous, and it's good they didn't lose sight of that. There isn't a moment where over-the-top sex and violence isn't a central idea. As the anime went on, however, I personally felt myself become desensitized to the ecchi... or was it that the breast milk concept became just another facet of a great anime? After a while it all starts to become so genuinely well woven into the battles that it hardly feels like a gimmick. This is because the combat itself is interesting as well; the idea of elemental powers was fully utilized to illustrate creative fights that might even make a chemistry professor chuckle in amusement. There is also an overarching plot, one that's well paced and metered in strong arcs that build into something. Finally, the icing on the cake is the ending, and the fact there is an actual the end ending that makes every arc and every character worth it in some way. It would be a challenge for me to name another battle-ecchi with a conclusion this thorough.
Even after all that's been said, the ecchi, or should I say ero, in this series lives up to its reputation and is not to be taken lightly. It's outrageous and designed to blow your socks off. There's enough material in this anime to satisfy most fetishes out there. Probably the only other non-pornographic (penetration) anime to rival this is one or two Kiss X Sis OADs. Proceed with caution.
Seikon no Qwaser is a blast and few battle-ecchi series can boast what this series accomplished for itself and anime as a whole. It's certainly not a show that will beg you to overthink while you watch, but also not something that should be laughed off simply because of a wild premise and ridiculous ecchi. Absolutely essential viewing for anybody with an interest in this genre.
