10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40 Boys-Love Manga Gets Live-Action Series

TV Tokyo announced on Wednesday that it is producing a live-action series adaptation of Mamita's 10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40 (40 Made ni Shitai 10 no Koto) boys-love manga. The series will premiere on the TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ channels on July 4 at 24:14 (effectively, July 5 at 12:14 a.m.), and will also stream on Lemino, U-NEXT, TV Tokyo HP, and TVer services in Japan.Kōhei Shōji (Kamen Rider Gavv, Mashin Sentai Kiramager, left in image above) plays Keishi Tanaka, while Shunsuke Kazama (Yu-Gi-Oh!, From Up On Poppy Hill, right) plays Suzume Tōjō.Chihiro Ikeda (live-action Senpai to Kanojo, Kowloon Generic Romance) and Noriaki Kosuge (co-director of Yo-kai Watch: Sora Tobu Kujira to Double Sekai no Daibōken da Nyan! live-action segment) are directing the series, with scripts by Yō Saitō (Aibō). Erina Koyama (live-action Kowloon Generic Romance) is composing the music.Mamita launched the manga in Libre Publishing's Be x Boy magazine in 2022. Libre Publishing released the manga's second and final volume on February 19.Seven Seas is also releasing Mamita's Wanna Be My Dress-Up Lover? and Natsume Wants to be Trained manga.
