Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show Anime's Video Reveals More Cast, Theme Songs, July 1 Debut

The official website for Cygames' original television anime Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show unveiled more cast members, the key visual, main promotional video, and July 1 premiere for the anime on Sunday. The video reveals and previews the opening theme song "Kakushō-ron" (Theory of Confirmation) by VTuber Ryushen, and the ending theme song "PANDORA feat. Noa (from Colorful Peach)" by Vell. The newly announced cast members are: Two of the anime's characters, the twin evil gods Zhar and Lloigor, will also debut as VTubers later on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (JST 8:00 a.m. EDT). The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel, and will stream on the U-NEXT and Anime Hōdai streaming services, on July 1 at 11:30 p.m. JST (10:30 a.m. EDT). The anime will then air on Kansai TV at 25:19 JST (effectively, July 2 at 1:19 a.m.), followed by CBC TV and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting at a later time. BS NTV will run the anime on July 2 at 24:00 JST (effectively, July 3 at 12 midnight).The anime stars: TOKYO Jashin Academy is credited for the original work. Masato Matsune (Chronos Ruler, Wixoss Diva(A)Live) is directing the original anime at Studio Gokumi. Makoto Uezu (Akame ga KILL!, Kamisama Dolls) is credited for the original story and is in charge of series scripts. Jiro Suzuki (Revenger, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) is the original character designer, and Evan Call is composing the music.The additional staff members include:The story centers on Miko Kurono, also known as "Necronomico," who starts doing her dream job as a live streamer after graduating from junior high school.
