Webtoon-Based Animated Series Acorn Culture Center Premieres on June 1
Korean public TV network EBS began airing the animated adaptation of the webtoon Acorn Culture Center on June 1. The series will broadcast every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. KST on EBS. Based on the webtoon created by Nanda and serialized between 2021 and 2023 on Kakao Webtoon, Acorn Culture Center follows Du-ri Go, a workaholic middle manager at a large corporation who is sent undercover to a culture center on company orders. There, she gradually undergoes a personal transformation as she experiences classes in calligraphy, knitting, and menopause dance.The animation is co-produced by EBS and 5Bricks.Currently, an English version of the original webtoon is not available.
