Creepy Nuts Return for Call of the Night Season 2 Anime's Opening Theme Song in New Trailer

The official website for the television anime of Kotoyama's Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) manga began streaming on Friday the main promotional video, and it reveals that Creepy Nuts will return to perform the opening theme song "Mirage." The trailer previews the song: The manga is also getting a new short-term serialization titled "Yofukashi no Uta -Rakuen-" (Call of the Night -Paradise-) in this year's 31st issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday on July 2.The anime will get an advanced screening for its first three episodes on June 14 at United Cinemas Toyosu Screen 10 with main cast members Gen Sato (Kо̄) and Sora Amamiya (Nazuna) in attendance. Maaya Uchida joins the cast as Haru Nanakusa, a nurse who looks like Nazuna Nanakusa.Rina Satō joins the cast as Kiku Hoshimi, a seductive woman with whom Kō's friend Mahiru falls in love. HIDIVE also debuted an English dub in September 2022.Tomoyuki Itamura (Monogatari series) directed the first season at LIDEN FILMS with Tetsuya Miyanishi (Josee, The Tiger and the Fish) as the chief director. Michiko Yokote (Bleach, Shirobako, Prison School, Cowboy Bebop) wrote the scripts. Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days) designed the characters.Creepy Nuts perform the first opening theme song "Datenshi" (Fallen Angel) and ending theme song "Yofukashi no Uta" (Call of the Night). The duo also perform insert songs for the anime. They have also appeared as cameos in the series.Viz Media licensed the Call of the Night manga, and describes the manga: Kotoyama (Dagashi Kashi) launched the Call of the Night manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in August 2019.
