Toei Animation Reveals Foxing: Kitsuné-tsuki Anime as 1st Work in New 'Eterna Animation' Brand

New brand to focus on original animation works

Toei Animation revealed on Thursday it is launching a new original animation brand called Eterna Animation, in celebration of the studio's 70th anniversary in 2026. Toei Animation stated regarding the new company:Along with the new brand, Toei Animation revealed the first new work in the new brand: FOXING: Kitsuné-tsuki. Toei Animation describes the short film: Takeru Shinozuka is directing the short film in his commercial directorial debut. Yoshihide Moriyama is producing the short film.Eterna Animation will introduce the short film at the MIFA Talent Panel during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival this month. The session will present pre-production materials with both Shinozuka and Moriyama appearing on stage.The short film will release in 2026.Source: Press release
