Webtoon-Based Action Noir Live-Action Show Mercy for None to Premiere on Netflix June 6

Netflix Korea confirmed on Friday that the action noir show Mercy for None will premiere on June 6. Ji-sub So stars as Ki-joon, alongside Beom-soo Lee, Joon-ho Heo, and Gil-kang Ahn.The streaming company also unveiled the teaser poster, which features Ki-joon standing alone amidst a field of fallen men, blood spatters on the wall hinting at the violent battles he's endured. The image sets the tone for a cold, calculated journey of revenge.Additionally, Netflix revealed on Friday an English-subtitled trailer for the show. The series follows Ki-joon, a former underworld figure who severed his Achilles tendon and left the criminal world. 11 years later, he returns to his former organization seeking revenge after the death of his younger brother Ki-seok, who had risen to the position of second-in-command.Originally serialized in 2020, Plaza Wars: Mercy for None gained widespread popularity before being adapted into a Netflix series.
