Too Kyo Games, DMM Games Reveal Shuten Kyodan Game

Game writer Kazutaka Kodaka's Too Kyo Games company and DMM Games' EXNOA company revealed on Friday that they are developing the Shuten Kyodan video game. The game's X/Twitter account revealed that the game will release for DMM Games, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The above video teases "a god's trial," and only 168 of something "remaining" until the end of the world.Spike Chunsoft had briefly posted on its English website earlier on Friday that it would publish a game titled "Shuten Order" from Too Kyo Games in North America and Europe for the Nintendo Switch and worldwide for Steam, but the link is no longer active and currently goes to a 404 error page as of press time.Kodaka is perhaps most famous as the writer for Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa adventure game series. The game series' latest installment, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, shipped in 2017. Kodaka also wrote and supervised the scenario for Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: Future Arc and Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: Despair Arc, the 2016 anime series that served as a conclusion to the first two games in the series.Kodaka was the director and scenario writer for Too Kyo Games' Death Come True "live-action movie game." He was also the scenario writer for Spike Chunsoft and Too Kyo Games' Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE (Enigma Archives Rain Code/Chō Tantei Jikenbo Rain Code) game.He is also credited with the original story concept for Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games' Tribe Nine project, which includes an anime. The official X/Twitter account for the 3D action role-playing game in the project announced on Thursday that the game will end service on November 27.
