Titan revealed on Wednesday that it is releasing a new sequel to the comic book for the Blade Runner: Black Lotus anime series. Blade Runner: Black Lotus - Las Vegas continues the story from the 2022 comic book arc Blade Runner: Black Lotus - Leaving L.A., which was itself a sequel to the 2021 anime. The company shared the cover illustrated by Kael Ngu for the upcoming first issue, launching this September:Nancy A. Collins (Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Swamp Thing) is returning to write the story, and Jesus Hervas (Blade Runner: Origins) is illustrating.Titan describes the story for Blade Runner: Black Lotus - Las Vegas: The comic is available for pre-order.The company shared a timeline visual, showing when the new comic, set in the year 2032, takes place with relation to other series:Blade Runner: Black Lotus - Leaving L.A. debuted in mid-June 2022, following a delay from early June. Collins wrote the four-issue mini-series and Enid Balam (Hawkeye: Kate Bishop) illustrated the work. Junggeun Yoon, Creees Lee, Concept Art, and Mico Suayan designed different cover art for the first issue of the mini-series.Crunchyroll and Adult Swim partnered with Alcon Entertainment to produce the 13-episode Blade Runner: Black Lotustelevision anime series, based on Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to the 1982 Blade Runner film.The anime premiered in November 2021 on Adult Swim's Toonami block and on Crunchyroll. Adult Swim also premiered the anime in Canada at the same time. Adult Swim had worldwide distribution rights to an English-dubbed version of the show outside of Asia, though it stopped streaming it in September 2022.
