Netflix's Weak Hero Class 2 Series Tops Netflix's Non-English Series Chart, Sparks Surge in Original Webtoon Viewership

Netflix's Weak Hero Class 2 live-action series based on the webtoon of same name topped Netflix's non-English series' global rankings for the week of April 21-27 (the show debuted on April 25). The show recorded 6.1 million views during that period, calculated by dividing total watch hours by the series' runtime.Following its release, Weak Hero Class 2 ranked in the top 10 across 63 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, France, Belgium, Morocco, Greece, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. The show then ranked at #2 for the week of April 28 through May 4, with 6.4 million views. The show ranked at #4 for the week of May 5-11.The first season previously ranked eighth in Netflix's global non-English series chart on its debut, and stayed on the top 10 list for five consecutive weeks.Following the Netflix release of Season 2, the webtoon recorded a 20-fold increase in monthly revenue compared to its post-completion average, according to Korean entertainment media BnTNews.Weak Hero Class 2 is currently available on Netflix.
