Marry My Husband Web Novel, Webtoon Get Japanese Live-Action Adaptation on Amazon in June

Amazon Prime Video announced on April 28 that the Korean web novel and webtoon Marry My Husband will get a Japanese live-action series adaptation titled Watashi no Otto to Kekkon Shite. The Amazon Original drama will premiere globally on June 27 and will have 10 episodes. Two episodes will debut every Friday.Amazon described the project as its first Japanese production created in collaboration with leading Korean studios CJ ENM and Studio Dragon.The Japanese adaptation will star Takeru Satō (live-action Rurouni Kenshin, Ajin), alongside rising actress Fūka Koshiba (live-action Wave, Listen to Me!; Ōoku). Marry My Husband follows the story of Ji-won Kang, who, after her husband and best friend betray her, meets a tragic death. She is however is given a second chance to go back in time to seek revenge and build a new life.In Korea, a separate live-action series adaptation aired earlier this year starring Min-young Park and In-woo Na. The series is available on Amazon Prime Video.
