Go-eun Kim Returns to Star in Yumi's Cells Season 3 Live-Action Series

TVING, a Korean streaming platform, has officially announced that its original live-action series based on the webtoon Yumi's Cells will return for a third season, with Go-eun Kim reprising her role as Yumi. The upcoming season will continue the “cell-stimulating” romance story, following Yumi's journey as a now-successful writer and the lovable, outspoken cells that live inside her mind.In Season 3, Yumi, having achieved her dream of becoming a star author, faces an unexpected and unpredictable new romance. Her sudden feelings of excitement stir up the once-calm village of cells, bringing a fresh wave of emotional growth and delightful chaos. Expressing her excitement, Kim shared, “I'm honored and happy to continue Yumi's story, which many viewers have so loved. It's a very special experience as an actor to portray the same character over such a long time. As much as Yumi has grown over the seasons, I hope to capture the pivotal moments she faces in life through Season 3.
