Live-Action Adaptation of Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women Webtoon Reveals Main Cast

Television network JTBC has announced that it will produce the television series adaptation of TARI's Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women webtoon, and has also revealed the main cast.The story of the webtoon follows 33-year-old Eui-young Lee, who finds herself torn between two very different men. One is Tae-seop Song, a stable and unremarkable mid-sized company employee whom she met through a formal blind date. The other is Ji-soo Shin, a charming and handsome aspiring singer working part-time at a convenience store. Caught between security and excitement, Eui-young continues to date both men, constantly weighing her options without making a clear choice.However, in the live-action adaptation, there have been some changes to the characters. Ji-min Han stars as Eui-young Lee, an assistant manager in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel. Successful and respected at work, she has never had a meaningful romantic relationship. Determined to change that, she boldly dives into the world of blind dates.Sung-hoon Park plays Tae-seop Song. He is the soft-spoken yet emotionally grounded owner of a woodworking studio who dreams of building a family. Though usually steady and unshaken, he is swept into unfamiliar emotions after meeting Eui-jeong.Ki-taek Lee takes on the role of Ji-soo Shin, a free-spirited younger man who unexpectedly meets Eui-jeong on a blind date and is immediately smitten. Though he values his freedom, his feelings for Eui-jeong begin to change him in surprising ways.The supporting cast includes Hye-sung Jung as Hyeon-min Jung, a dopamine-driven colleague of Eui-jeong who favors light and casual dating over commitment. So-hye Kim, a former member of K-pop girl group I.O.I, plays Sae-byeok Shim, the lovable youngest member of the purchasing team and a new employee adjusting to adult life, looking up to Eui-jeong as her role model.The series is slated to release in 2026.
