The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Fujino Ōmori and Suzuhito Yasuda's Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka or DanMachi) light novel series announced on Thursday that the novels have reached 20 million copies in circulation. The series is the first GA Bunko title to reach the milestone.The franchise also announced that the 21st main novel volume, the spinoff story Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria's 16th volume, and the Familia Chronicle episode Asfi story will all release in October. The main novel will enter its final arc with the upcoming 21st volume.Additionally, a new free short story is available to read in Japanese on the anime's website. The short story, titled "Himo no Shōtai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka" (Is It Wrong to Seek the True Identity of the String?), centers on Hestia's blue string that she wears across her chest.Ōmori and Yasuda launched the first novel in the series in January 2013, and launched the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
