Webtoon-Based Live-Action Series Head Over Heels Reveals Trailer
Korean network tvN has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming series Head Over Heels, a fantasy romance based on the webtoon of the same name.The youthful first-love story follows 18-year-old high school shaman Seong-ah Park (played by Yi-hyun Jo), who defies fate to save Gyeon-woo Bae (played by Young-woo Choo), a boy destined to die. The show features a variety of K-ghost characters, each with their own backstories. The teaser opens as Gyeon-woo Bae walks through a shadowy temple corridor, with Park Sung Ah's voice warning repeatedly, “It's dangerous… it's dangerous… it's too dangerous…”But when the temple doors open to reveal Seong-ah Park and light floods the screen, the mood shifts dramatically. Park Sung Ah finishes her sentence with a humorous twist: “…that face!”— indicating she's already fallen for him at first sight.As Seong-ah Park begins her unexpected journey to save Gyeon-woo Bae from his tragic fate, she narrates, “And that's how my difficult first love began.”Head Over Heels will premiere on June 23.
